August 10th, 2009, Seattle Genetics announced that it had achieved a milestone under its antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) collaboration agreement with MedImmune, LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of AstraZeneca. The milestone was triggered by MedImmune?s initiation of a phase I clinical trial of MEDI-547, its anti-EphA2 ADC for solid tumors.

November 13th, 2008, BioSeek announced that it has exclusively licensed two novel anti-inflammatory peptides from Amylin Pharmaceuticals, Inc. The two novel peptides were identified as candidates for development by BioSeek as a result of an ongoing joint research collaboration initiated between the two companies in 2007.
